Fake Celebrity Parties and "Special Invited Guests"

I was just discussing this with my partner and it warranted a small piece about this....
I have to give praise where praise is due. Kudos to S.C.L.A.S.S., Trendslife and Jinglin' Baby for delivering on their guest appearances at their parties. With the influence of Funk Flex in their corner since December, every celebrity appearance they have advertised for their parties (Get Money Wednesdays at NV and Sex in the City Saturdays at The City) have actually come through and for the most part have stayed and hung out for a while. The most recent with Dame Dash hanging at NV last night. I make a big deal of this because there have been a number of unscrupulous promoters out there touting celebrities that will be at the party while knowing there is no remote chance they will be there. I was most recently reminded of this a few Sundays ago with the supposed Kobe Bryant and Lamar Odom party at Social Club. I was skeptical when I first saw the advertisements, but I figure I'd give them a chance and check it out. No LA Lakers in sight. Folks, let cut this out. It's not fair to the consumers who are relying on your word to deliver as advertised when you put celebrities' names on your flyers, evites, etc. And let's not try to get slick with it by putting "Special Invited Guests" on your advertisements. You are asking somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody who knows the celebrity' to come through does not count as a "Special Invite". Just like I gave S.C.L.A.S.S. & Co. their due respect, I will also let you know who's guilty of such atrocities. Consider yourselves warned..... I can be reached at fcgnews@gmail.com.
