Welcome to our 2005 edition of identifying the top bachelors of NYC nightlife. The list is short, but it represents handsome and leading men that have made a significant impact on the NYC nightlife scene. Our goal was to take a cross-section of folks who make nightlife run: from your favorite promoter to those less conspicuous who make things happen behind the scenes. The process of identifying these individuals was more than just looking attractive individuals in the scene. I’m sure some of you ladies familiar with the scene can think of a number of stunning males in the scene that are not on this list. An individual’s accomplishments and contributions to the scene were considered more so than the physical. And without further a due, we present NYC nightlife’s top bachelors.
Fashion Week in New York City always has something exciting to offer. Even with the long lines, shows not starting on time and people always sitting in the wrong seat, it’s something that no fashionista should miss!
Unfortunately, we all can’t attend thus I thought it would be best to give you an overview of what Spring 2006 has to offer. This season will allow you lots of room for interruption, therefore the rules are simple: find styles that work for you and add key items from last spring. Think outside the box and enjoy reading the best of Spring 2006.
If you've been to any of the events that I host, you know that I was the first person on the mic to tell crowds to "represent your family from down south". Right now, we need to do more than just put our hands in the air. Hurricane Katrina has done an enormous and unimaginable amount of damage to the city of New Orleans and the states of Mississippi and Alabama. There's no way my conscience would've allowed me to host events this weekend knowing that 1,000 miles south of us there are people, OUR PEOPLE, suffering as a result of a natural disaster. I hope and pray that some of you may feel the same way. IT'S TIME TO "BE GROWN" NYC, so before we get into our Labor Day Weekend celebrations, let's not ignore the challenges that lie ahead for the people of that region. It may be your family, or your friend's family but I'm sure somebody knows someone down in that area, and they need OUR help.
I really don’t write enough. I always seem to start my pieces with why I haven’t written in so long. It seems as if I write a piece, then disappear off the face of the Earth. Well, I’ve haven’t gone anywhere, but I just haven’t been inspired to write as of late. I guess that’s because I haven’t been too excited about most of the parties as of late. Could it be fatigue or burn-out? I think not, I’m not that old. (At least I don’t think). But don’t get me wrong, there have been some solid parties and interesting events to say the least since we last spoke. I’ll see if I can give you some highlights (and maybe some lowlights as well).
Many of you that go out or look at these pictures may see some of the same faces time and time again. I'm sure some of you may wonder exactly who are these people and what do they do so that they're partying all the time? And what do I need to do so I can party like a rockstar at all times? So we've created this new section, Notables on the Scene to shed some light on the subject. From time to time we will spotlight folks on the scene to learn a bit more about them. So without further a due, we present NFL Kev.
Welcome to another edition of Dimes & Dons where we have pictoral features of some of nightlife’s most beautiful personalities. This week we caught up with entertainment entrepreneur King Matthew at BLVD. We will be adding one picture a day for the next 7 days so be sure to come back and check for the daily goodies. Special thanks to him and the staff at BLVD including promotional director Kenaar Nelson.
Welcome to AllTheParties.com Travel, our latest edition of urban lifestyle entertainment. We have been working with travel agents to organize travel arrangement packages to popular events both domestically and internationally.
Welcome to the booth of the Commander-In-Chief, DJ Commish. Every two weeks or so, I'll be giving you the rundown of whose music is running NYC's club scene. Check out the top five NYC club-bangers that will guarantee to throw the party into a frenzy as soon as I throw these records on the table.
I know what you’re thinking, a Fall Fashion Guide in the middle of summer! However, fall is closer than you think and for true fashionistas who enjoy staying ahead, this guide is timed perfectly for you to fall into the must have items for the season.
I’m glad to see that folks are looking forward to my entries. If you haven’t heard anything from me in a minute, I’ll get a few reminders from folks on email and in the streets asking what’s up with the articles. But there seem to be a 1001 things to do in a day and never enough time. It’s been about 3 weeks or so since my last entry and there have a few events in clubland worth mentioning. Since it’s been so long since I written about my journeys, instead of giving you a chronological account of where I’ve been, I’ll just mention about a few highlights that come to mind as I type away.
